White snakeroot is a weed that grows throughout spring and summer, its white flowers blooming in fall. The white snakeroot flowers provide plenty of nectar and pollen. However it is quite toxic especially to livestock and can cause death in humans who have consumed it, typically after consuming milk from an affected animal.
