Answer to December's
Horticulture Challenge

Can you identify this flower? Hint: it is not a daisy.

ANSWER: Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium L.)
It is a perennial that grows 11 – 39 inches in height, with yellow-green leaves. Its yellow flowers bloom from July to October, and are about 3/4 inch in diameter with a single layer of white outer-ray florets.  Its yellow-green leaves grow on both sides of the stem at alternating levels.
